1998 Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Standard Reissue Gold Top
A 1957 Gold Top from the 90s Historic Collection has arrived.

Overall, there are numerous imperfections, including scratches, dents, buckle marks, scuffing on the headstock top, fine cracks, and paint chips along the edges.
There is paint wear near the end of the body back (with exposed wood), fading on the horns and parts of the body back, as well as significant tarnish on the hardware and rust on the screws.

Three potentiometers have been replaced; the capacitor has been upgraded to a Vitamin Q; conductive paint has been applied inside the cavity; the bridge and tailpiece have been replaced; and the pickguard has been replaced.
It is equipped with the 57 Classic pickup, which remains immensely popular to this day and is believed to be the original.

The combination of the 57 Classic pickups and Vitamin Q capacitors produces a captivating sound that blends a rich, sweet tone with a lustrous quality.

While it shows significant signs of use, there is also the verdigris typical of Goldtop models visible near the elbow, and the high-quality fingerboard?with its deep color?gives the guitar a dignified appearance.
