Ludwig 20/13/16" "Super Beat" Drum Set - Red Sparkle w/ COB Rims

Here's a nice vintage set of "Super Beats"; the combo of a Downbeat and a Super Classic that gives a bit more focused punch to its 20" bass drum while keeping the toms "super" full at 13" and 16". These are finished in their original red sparkle wrap and are outfitted with some nice older Ludwig Weathermaster heads that lets these shells breathe nicely. Internal tone controls function nicely, as does its rail.

Steve’s notes: Just in from our group of sets acquired at the Chicago Drum Show. This is a really nice 9x13, 16x16, 14x20 Ludwig red sparkle drum set from the 60s. COB rims too. A few of the normal nicks as shown, and the bass drum hoops could use a repaint. Otherwise all great! Great Ludwig 60s era sound!! Ludwig drums from this era were heard on countless hits from the 60s. There’s a reason for that: They sound incredible!!
