1979: The Lambda (ĩ) is a legendary string synthesizer from KORG.

The ES-50 is a 48-key fully polyphonic preset synthesizer featuring an advanced design that incorporated the cutting-edge technology of its time.

The sound module is divided into two sections: "Percussive" for sounds with a quick attack, such as electric piano and clavinet, and "Ensemble" for sustained sounds like organ and strings. Each section can be adjusted and layered, allowing a total of nine different timbres to be played on a single keyboard.
With its unique sound?unattainable on other keyboards?it is a legendary string synthesizer.

The keyboard was broken but has been repaired (rebuilt), and although the joystick was not broken, it has been replaced with a replacement part.
