Based on Taylorfs gAcademy Series,h the top is made of North American Lutz spruce, the sides, back, and neck are made of North American maple, the fingerboard, bridge, and headstock veneer are made of Cameroonian ebony, and the elbow contour is made of Fijian mahogany.
The sound features the bright tone characteristic of a maple body, making it well-suited for soft music styles such as bossa nova.

There is a small dent on the body corner near the preamp, but otherwise, the condition is good, with only minor scratches and small dents.
