Goldentone 5w 1960 - grey tolex

This is a very rare Goldentone 5W guitar amp from cap dates made 1960-1962, according to the serial number probably earlier. The amp is original silver face panel , top mounted Goldentone logo original grill cloth, original Rola 8MX vintage speaker date code appears as 1959, all Australian probably original valves, A&R output transformer. The amp comes with a new laser cut back panel and the original one somewhat modified with extra holes. The amp is in working order and untouched. Serial number 2379. To restore it using vintage parts would reduce its value, a difficult decision. If you live in Adelaide you are welcome to come have a look and a play, even if you do not wish to purchase the amp, just as a bit of our heritage I welcome anyone. This is the first one I have seen in this exact configuration prices have varied from about $800 to $2000, this one is in fair condition cosmetically for its age, and most likely the oldest one I have ever seen in my life or found on the internet.
