The Martin OM (Orchestra Model), inspired by the idea of banjo player Perry Bechtel, was introduced in 1929 as a revolutionary model with the first 14-fret joint neck.
The OM series is characterized by the use of a 645mm scale neck, the same as a dreadnought.
The one we have just received has special inlays on the fingerboard and L.R. Baggs pickups mounted on it. It can be used in various situations.
The binding is thinning due to age, and the paint on the back of the neck is shiny due to use, but it has been checked and adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
