The PM200 is based on the prototype Ibanez guitar with a 4 1/4-inch body and single cutaway that Pat Metheny himself has used since the early days.
The single cutaway body is designed to be 4 1/4 inches thick at the side.
Maple body with set-in neck shaped specifically for the Pat Metheny model.
The fingerboard is made of ebony and the inlays are made of abalone. The bridge is a Gotoh GE103B.
Equipped with Ibanez's original Silent 58 pickup, which has been designed to prevent feedback. It features a transparent tone.
