Roland GR-700/GR-707 Guitar Synthesizer Set w/ Guitar & Case, Floorboard, 24-Pin Cable & Power Cable

This is a serious piece of synth guitar history—the Roland GR-707 guitar and GR-700 synthesizer processor. If you're looking for that classic '80s analog synth magic with the ability to trigger it straight from your guitar, this is the setup to get.

The GR-707 is instantly recognizable for its futuristic design, complete with an extended stabilizer bar on the upper bout, a striking visual element that screams “The future is now!” It features both traditional humbucking pickups and Roland’s specialized MIDI pickup system, allowing the guitar to send it’s dry signal through the synth board, as well as function as a synth controller for the GR-700. This means you can blend ripping analog synth leads with your regular guitar tone, or go full-on synth madness.

The GR-700 itself is a powerhouse, built around the same synth engine found in the revered JX-3P and MKS-30. This gives you six analog voices, each with dual digitally controlled oscillators (DCOs), a resonant low-pass filter, a high-pass filter, full LFO and envelope controls, plus that legendary Roland analog chorus for deep, rich textures. Whether you want classic pads, screaming leads, or metallic sync sounds, this thing delivers.

Used by legends like Al Di Meola, Robert Fripp, Jimmy Page, and Andy Summers, the GR-700 was a serious innovation when it dropped in 1984, and it still holds up as one of the most expressive ways to control an analog synth via guitar.

This set includes the GR-707 guitar, the GR-700 processor, the original 24-pin cable, and the original hardshell case with pink plush lining. Everything you need to plug in and start crafting synth guitar tones straight out of an '80s sci-fi soundtrack.

A rare and iconic setup that’s perfect for collectors, synth lovers, or guitarists looking to expand their sonic palette into bold new territory.
