This new model is named "PIA" by Steve himself, who positions it as "the Evolution of the JEM". The body is made of alder, just like the JEM, but the new body design incorporates attention to detail in various parts such as the body edge, contour, and horn. The "monkey grip", which was the trademark of JEM, has been updated to the "pedal grip", designed with the image of petals nestling together. The neck, shaped to Steve's preferred grip, has a five-piece maple and walnut structure, and the familiar decoration can be seen on the fingerboard, but this is called "PIA Blossom Inlay" and was newly designed for PIA. The pickup is equipped with DiMarzio UtoPIA, designed for PIA based on the tone direction that Steve is pursuing. The pickup cover is beautifully decorated to match the design concept of the guitar, making it a special guitar with a gorgeous atmosphere. *A white protective sheet is attached to the back panel.
