The M94SE Fat Sugar Drive is an overdrive from MXR by Dunlop that gets its versatility from its exclusive Drive control, which replicates the clean-to-dirty transition of an amp by blending the clean signal into the top of the pot. The voltage doubler circuit increases the amplitude, opening up the sound of the pedal. Together, these elements allow the Fat Sugar to offer sounds that start from a boost all the way to the distortion typical of a tube amp. The Fat Sugar Drive is set to True Bypass by default, but for tone purists who want buffered bypass, simply remove the bottom plate and press the internal Buffer switch. This special edition comes in a Pink Sparkle finish.
