Gerold Hannabach (1928-2015) was born in Schönbach, Czechoslovakia, in a music instruments makers family. In 1948, he started his apprenticeship in Arnold Hoyer’s workshop in Bubenreuth. He then opened his own workshop for classical guitars and for resale in 1953. He passed the examination as a master guitar maker in 1966 and started working as a lecturer for musical instrument making at various institutions. In addition, he was a prolific guitar maker and received numerous awards for his work, including the Federal Cross of Merit. Gerold Karl Hannabach is one of the most famous German guitar makers.Original hard case. Shipping to US only.
