Fender Jazz Bass Wiring Harness This is a American Standard harness for Jazz Bass guitars. It will drop into most American Fender J-Bass plates with little or no modification. This kit would work for your custom build as well. Installing these kits and assemblies on overseas or Mexican made guitars may require some modification. Going from metric to standard requires you to enlarge the hole diameter to 3/8" for the CTS potentiometers and Switchcraft jacks. We recommend that you use a tapered reamer or a stepped drill bit for the best results. Also the knobs will have to be changed to fit USA pots.
