Schecter Damien Platinum-7 Electric Guitar in Satin Black

The Damien Platinum-7 is built for players who demand speed and precision across extended range work. Its ultra-thin neck and lightweight mahogany body strike an immediate balance between comfort and responsiveness, making rapid fret work and complex passages feel natural rather than forced. Heavy riffing, progressive passages, and atmospheric textures all emerge with clarity and punch from this seven-string platform.

Playability & Feel

The thin "C" neck profile measures 0.787" at the first fret and 0.866" at the 12th fret, delivering fast access across 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16" fretboard radius. A 26.5" scale length maintains balanced tension and articulation across all seven strings, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.889" width) ensures consistent tuning stability and string response.

Tone & Electronics

The EMG-81 active humbucker in the bridge and EMG-85 active humbucker in the neck deliver hot, responsive output with exceptional sustain and harmonic clarity. Volume, Tone, and 3-Way switch controls shape the tone from aggressive, high-output aggression to warmer, articulate voices capable of nuanced clean work.
