Morley NSW No Switch Wah
The NSW (No Switch Wah) is an optical wah-wah pedal produced in the 1990s, designed to offer simple, silent and reliable operation. Its main feature is its switchless activation: simply press down on the pedal to engage the effect, then lift your foot to automatically return to bypass thanks to its spring-loaded mechanism. Its electro-optical system uses an LED and a light-sensitive cell instead of a conventional potentiometer, providing a smooth sweep while avoiding the wear and crackling associated with traditional potentiometers. Its tone is expressive and bright, with a pronounced treble response that works particularly well for solos that need to cut through the mix. It also features silent switching, making it well suited to both studio and live use. Now discontinued, the NSW will appeal to guitarists looking for an original, practical wah that requires no footswitch to operate.
