Wefve received an ST72-53 manufactured by Fujigen between 1993 and 1994.
This model recreates the specifications of the 1970s and features a large headstock, a bullet truss rod nut, a U-shaped neck, and die-cast block bridge saddles.
Although this was an entry-level model for Fender Japan at the time, Fender Japan guitars from the Fujigen era are gaining recognition both domestically and internationally for their high quality.
There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the body, the hardware has some tarnish, and there is a crack in part of the back panel.
The neck is slightly warped, but this does not interfere with playability as is.
The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller locking pins, and the original strap hardware is included.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
