The Les Paul Standard 50s is a popular model that carries on the specifications of the 1950s gGolden Erah into the present day. This instrument features the iconic Les Paul Gold Top finish, allowing you to fully enjoy its classic looks and quintessential Les Paul sound.
The body features a traditional construction combining a mahogany back with a maple top. Thanks to its solid body structure?without weight relief?you can fully experience the thick, resilient mid-to-low frequencies, rich sustain, and powerful resonance characteristic of the Les Paul.
The neck features a mahogany Vintage f50s profile. Its firm, secure grip ensures stable playability, from chord work to lead playing. Other appealing features that evoke the f50s style include a rosewood fingerboard, cream-colored hardware, and Aged Gold Top Hat knobs.
The pickups include a Burstbucker 1 at the neck and a Burstbucker 2 at the bridge. They deliver the sweet, vintage-like nuances characteristic of Alnico II magnets, covering a wide range of tones?from thick, warm clean tones to crisp crunch and rich lead sounds. The combination of hand-wired wiring and Orange Drop capacitors provides the dynamic response and natural tone control that define the Les Paul.
It features an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and an aluminum stop bar tailpiece. While maintaining a classic look, this is a highly refined instrument that offers an excellent balance of sound, playability, and practicality.
