Cobran was Chushin Gakki's factory brand for the Japanese domestic market, which was built alongside Charvel and Jackson Japan. The brand was launched around 1991, and was discontinued at the end of 1995. These were quality yet affordable instruments. The series consisted of the F-A (traditional trem) and F-G (double-locking Takeuchi trem) guitars, and the F-B bass series. Funnily enough, this F-B1 bass has a truss rod cover of a F-A1 guitar.
Beautiful purple finish and excellent condition overall, with no dings, dents, or damage. Neck is super clean and frets have minimal wear, pups and hardware are super clean as well. This bass is very pleasant to play, and pups allow a palette of sounds from P-bass types to jazzy, as to be expected from the pup layout.
Thick vintage gig bag included.
