Thank you for your interest in Vintage 1978 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar with case!A true, authentic SG Standard, light, powerful,resonant,with great sustain and in totally original condition. Lightweight with 3,3 kg of excellent mahogany wood!Used but NOT abused, shows signs of lots of playing during its 46 years of life but NO breaks whatsoever or repairs of any kind and, as mentioned, everything, and I repeat, EVERYTHING, is completely original. Even the electronics are in the same condition as when it left the Gibson factory,with all the solderings intact. Its two Tarback pickups (also known as "super humbuckers"), designed by Bill Lawrence, provide the fat, full, warm,non feedback sound for which they are famous. Two tone, two volume controls with black speed knobs and a 3-way Switchcraft switch and jack input in PERFECT functional condition!Very playable three piece mahogany neck paired to a superb rosewood fingerboard that has just received a professional refret job; bends and runs are super easy on this guitar. The action is low and the guitar plays with no buzzing or dead spots.It comes with its original Gibson “Protector” (a.k.a. chainsaw) hard shell case .
