A fine instrument with slight ware especially on the back, some light marks on the front with a gorgeous red bright varnish indicative of the movie 'The Red Violin' made up two pieces of fine spruce very even and a spruce Aubert French Bridge. Light weight boxwood fittings with white trim and single 'e' fine tuner. Hill Style with loop or ball end.
The back is a finely grained spruce of one piece slab; matching sides neck and finely cut scroll. neck is very comfortable to play and even on all strings and positions. No claim of authenticity or paperwork but nevertheless an incredible instrument for any professional looking for a second instrument or to upgrade. Perfect projection and easy response. No corner damage, just slight antiquing mostly on the back.
The tone is robust and suitable for soloists; orchestral and symphony players, as well as chamber musicians, folk and mariachi performers alike. Aside from being beautiful it is a wonderful piece of art which would make any musician happy.
