We’ve just received a Dragonfly Border model that perfectly balances modern playability with traditional tone—featuring refined, classic specifications!

The body is made of alder, the neck of maple, and the fingerboard of pearwood. The rich, full-bodied midrange, clear highs, and moderately tight lows coexist in perfect balance, creating a versatile foundation suitable for any genre.

The 648mm (long scale) length delivers a tight attack and clear chord separation. Furthermore, the hard-tail bridge design transmits string vibration without loss, ensuring a stable sound image and direct response.

The neck features a U-shape with just the right amount of thickness.

The flat 400R fingerboard, 24 frets, and stainless steel frets provide a consistent playing feel and smooth fingering from the low to high positions.

The guitar is equipped with Dragonfly’s original DHFS-8F / 8B pickups. Characterized by a wide dynamic range and natural harmonics, they deliver well-separated clarity in clean tones and a full-bodied sound that doesn’t break up when driven.

Another major appeal is its high responsiveness, which faithfully translates the player’s touch into sound.
