Once WWII ended and metal restrictions were lifted, the factory resourcefully utilized these premium solid maple shells rather than letting them go to waste, finishing this specimen as a standard, metal-hardware Radio King. This unique transition makes the drum not only a magnificent musical instrument but a true, living artifact of history.
