Mayson MS9 Mayfair Spruce/Madagascar Rosewood 2010 China - with LR Baggs Anthem

Up for sale is gorgeous acoustic guitar made by boutique Chinese manufacturer Mayson Guitars. Model MS9 Mayfair was their top-tier product, made to the highest standards of modern guitar building. Year 2010 - early years of production, made with utmost care. Last I've heard, the company has shut down their operations, so these hi-end models will become increasingly rare in future. Too sad if that's true, considering fantastic quality of this instruments.

All solid woods of very high quality- top is AAA European spruce, back and sides are striking Madagascar rosewood with rare yellowish stripe in the middle, neck is genuine mahogany, fretboard is ebony. Scale is 645 mm, nut width is 45 mm. Neck is reinforced with carbon truss rod. Factory-installed LR Baggs Anthem pickup. Overall craftsmanship is impeccable.

Excellent, gift-grade condition - just a slight feel of use, neglect-able fret wear and a tiny scratch near the pickguard. Geometry is fine, strings are set at low height without buzzing - very comfortable to play. New set of Elixir 12-53 PhBronze is installed.

Sounds fantastic - loud, punchy, yet maintaining focus and clarity, with rich overtones, wonderfully balanced across the whole range. This guitar was primarily designed for modern fingerstyle applications but it could easily serve as a hi-end allrounder instrument for professional stage. It stands on par with more expensive models from competitors, like Taylor 814, Lakewood M32 Deluxe, Furch Red etc. Please ask for a demo and I'll record one for you.
