The NUX Solid Studio pedal simulates vintage amp/cabinet setups with microphones and power amp tubes. It was created to solve the restricted gear availability and the difficult-to-transport amp/speaker realities. The Solid Studio provides a range of connection options for accurate guitar tones with or without a genuine speaker cabinet thanks to its eight speaker cabinet simulations. Additionally, it comes with 8 microphone types that can be mixed and matched with any cabinets and the microphone location can be altered for fine tuning. Three power tube models with similar tonal characteristics are available in the Solid Studio Power Amp Simulation: EL84, LE34, and 6V6. By positioning the Solid Studio at the very end of your pedal board, you may transmit simulated sound to the mixer while still delivering your authentic signal to the amplifier. It may be placed between your pedals and audio interface for silent direct recording, enabling you to split a DI signal from the Solid Studio with cabinet simulation to the mixer. To prevent the amplifier from being harmed, a genuine cabinet or loadbox must be attached to the THRU connector as the Solid Studio does not act as a load for the amplifier. With the help of the potent impulse response (IR) file capture program NUX Solid Studio, users may reproduce the sound of any guitar cabinet. It delivers a greater quality than the majority of IR loaders, which have a maximum resolution of 50ms, with a resolution of 2048 samples and 46ms. The superior processor and algorithm guarantee a signal delay of less than 1 ms from input to output. Solid Studio is the best option for recording speaker profiles because of its 46ms duration, which guarantees that it can read all frequencies. It only requires adjusting the microphone location, connecting to the Mic Preamp, and connecting the output to the Solid Studio input and power amp in/return in order to be used.
