The Children of Lir Lyre takes inspiration from one of Ireland's oldest myths to present a one of a kind Lyre engraved with true Celtic knots that swirl along the sides, and in the centre a representation of the swans from the legend of the Children of Lir. The lyre is one of the oldest musical instruments in Western history, famously played by the ancient Greeks it eventually was picked up by both the Irish and Scottish.

This beautiful 19 string lyre plays a bright and pleasant sound and can be used to arrange many tunes by both beginners and experts alike. The Children of Lir Lyre comes with a tuning lever , 3 plectrums, a set of spare strings, and a carrying bag.
