Compact, analog Dual LFO, that is based on the A-147-2 VC-LFO. Doepfer’s A-147-4 has a wide frequency range, many waveforms, PWM...neat!

Although the A-147-4 is very compact, there are a lot of functions behind the 8TE wide front panel. The module outputs five different waveforms per LFO. Besides rising and falling sawtooth also sine, triangle and rectangle. Furthermore the rectangle can be modulated in width, from 0% to 100%! Besides the manual setting of the width of the rectangle, this parameter can of course also be modulated by CV. Just plug a cable into the CV input P, which turns the PW/PM control into an attenuator.

The CV input for the frequency tracks 1V/oct (up to about 2500Hz) as long as the attenuator for the CV is fully turned up. So with the Doepfer A-147-4 you also have a dual (utility-) VCO in your rack!

  • Switch CV Pol.: Polarity switch for control voltage, in center position the external control voltage is switched off

  • Reset input: with jumper selectable behavior edge controlled / level controlled

  • Output level approx. -5V ... +5V (10Vpp)

  • Square wave output adjustable via jumper between strictly positive (approx. 0/+10V) or zero balanced (approx. -5V/+5V)

  • Display of LFO frequency via LED (triangle signal)

  • Two frequency ranges selectable by jumper: approx. 02 Hz to 2.5kHz and 0.0017 Hz to 220Hz

  • Controller F in high frequency range: approx. 0.075 Hz (approx. 13 seconds) ... 1.4kHz

  • Controller F in the high frequency range: approx. 0.007 Hz (approx. 140 seconds) ... 125Hz
