Very cool and rare Styron-plastic ukulele from the 50's! Excellent condition of it's age with some minor scratches and dents. One of the tuning pegs have been replaced. Includes a soft bag.
The Islander Baritone Ukulele was designed by Mario Maccaferri and made by the French American Reeds Manufacturing Company of Mount Vernon, New York.
During the 1950's Maccaferri developed a variety of plastic instruments including plastic woodwind reeds and guitars.
