Kramer Focus 1983 Metallic Green

Up for sale is a nice Kramer Focus 1000, made in Japan,  presumably from 1983 era.
It has been hot rodded in a good way:
- 2 additional single coils pickups have been added so cleanly so that you couldn't notice it is not original. Staggered Levinson (coming from a Blade guitar) in the neck, flat pole Ibanez in the middle coming from a regular RG.
- Finish is not original also, they never came in metallic green. It is nicely done but they are some scratches on the front as pictured.
- Hardware is pimped in gold: made in germany original floyd rose, gotoh nut, locking tuning machines.
- Bridge pickup is a DiMarzio super distortion (DP100): a very old one with two wires connection (no coil split option available).
Neck is nice and straight, truss rod works fine and frets have plenty of life left. It's a R2. You'll notice a hole near the heel: someone at some point probably tried to put a strap attachment ala gibson here.
Pickups selection is working like this: the toggle monitors neck and bidge pickups, the push-ull potentiometer activates the middle pickup when pulled (ala Georges Lynch).
It is not new but it plays and sounds great. Neck and Bridge pickups pairs very nicely and have great character to them. Middle pickup is suitable for funky style stuff. Playability is awesome. As it is loaded in 9-42 currently, please note you'll have to adjust truss rod (nut at the heel) if you change the strings gauge.
This is an amazing 80's shredding machine.
Comes with a standard hard shell case as pictured.
