Akai S1100 OS v4.3 EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET
- Firmware OS v4.3 the last known firmware revision issued by Akai for the S1100
- Included will be 2 new EPROM chips, which will be labeled accordingly to indicate which IC socket the EPROM is to be installed.
Keepin mind that the S1100 itself is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chips.
- This upgrade is only for the S1100 and not the S1100EX. If you are looking for the v1.36 EX upgrade, send me a message and I’ll help you out.
Be sure to take note of the marked orientation notch on the sideof the EPROM to ensure correct installation. EPROMS inserted backwards will bedestroyed. Incorrect insertion of ICs is also likely to cause damage to theboard.
AllEPROM upgrades have been prepared in an ESD-safe production environment andwill be packaged in equally ESD-safe materials.
