Description

La Bella’s Mandolin Series is designed for the distinctive soprano voice of the eight-string mandolin, an instrument tuned in paired courses like a violin. The 770L light-tension set combines silver-plated wound strings with plain steel trebles for a balanced response and warm, articulate tone. Loop ends provide a secure, traditional fit for compatible mandolin tailpieces, while the light tension offers comfortable fretting and easy playability.

With its responsive feel and clear projection, this full set suits a wide range of mandolin playing, from traditional melodies and chord accompaniment to ensemble work and studio recording. The paired-string design supports expressive tremolo, precise note definition, and lively acoustic presence without an overly demanding feel. Made in the USA with American wire, the strings are packaged using MAP technology to help prevent tarnishing and preserve freshness until installation.
