Hi there, thanks for viewing! Putting my fantastic 80's Guyatone PS-012 Graphic Equaliser up for sale due to no board space. I won't lie, I bought it for the aesthetics over an eq7, it's definitely got it's own mojo and not the same as a ge7. It's been tweaked by the previous seller "Looselectronics" in Japan by swapping out the 2 quad op amps to reduce hiss, a common mod. I also have the originals in the box if you wish to return it back to factory! As you can see, the Frequencies are not the same as a GE-7, The lowest bass & highest treble frequencies being more subtle on guitar at house volumes, though I'd assume you'd notice more on bass.The Level control on 9v is passive so, to get a above unity boost similar to the ge7, THIS WILL REQUIRE AN -18V SUPPLY!!!If used with a battery or 9v supply like me, then for mild settings, put the level all the way up for no volume loss, and decrease as you adjust/increase the other frequencies to your taste 😁 With all this said, I feel it's priced comparable to an unmodded used ge-7, though offers are always welcome! Nothing else to disclose, I'm sure if you want to message the previous seller on reverb he'd be glad to tell you more, lovely guy!
