About this listing
A 1970 Fender Jaguar (Maple, Black Binding, Inlay, Candy Apple Red) has arrived!! This guitar features a maple onset fingerboard, black block position marks, black binding, and the custom Candy Apple Red finish. This configuration was produced in very limited quantities. Serial No.: 321102, Pot Date: 1376636?manufactured in 1970. The Neck Date stamp is faint, but the numbers g15XXX7XBh are just barely legible. The body is alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is also a maple veneer. The body and neck are adjusted with shims. The neck offers just the right amount of grip and feels very comfortable to play. The pickups are original gray-bobbin models. The pot date is 1376636, indicating they are original. Since pots from 1966 were still commonly used at this time, these are authentic. The capacitor and jack are also original. On the preset side, one 1966 pot is visible, while the other is hidden by solder. However, it does not look out of place, so we have determined it to be original. While there are some scratches and dents commensurate with its age, the guitar is in remarkably good condition. It retains a high degree of originality and offers excellent playability. Of course, the truss rod is in perfect working order. It comes with the original tremolo arm and original bridge cover. This is an extremely rare specimen. Please be sure to consider this opportunity. * As this is a consignment item, we are unable to negotiate the selling price.
