Offered for sale is a stunning 2017 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition NAMM '55 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic, finished in the rare and highly desirable Faded Aged Sherwood Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer. Built as a special NAMM Limited Edition model, this guitar combines authentic 1955 Stratocaster aesthetics with carefully selected modern upgrades for exceptional playability.
This instrument features a lightweight 2-piece selected ash body, a quartersawn maple neck with a substantial 1954 "U" profile, a comfortable 9.5" fingerboard radius, and 6105 narrow-tall frets. The result is the feel of an early Fender with improved playability for today's guitarist.
Tone comes from a matched set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 Strat Low-G Alnico III Relic pickups, delivering everything you'd expect from a great vintage Strat: sparkling highs, woody mids, dynamic response, and outstanding clarity. The Vintage Modified Wiring provides a versatile range of classic Strat tones.
The Journeyman Relic finish offers the look and feel of a well-preserved vintage instrument, while the heavily broken-in neck makes it exceptionally comfortable.
