The Boss FRV-1 “’63 Fender Reverb” is a compact reverb pedal created through a collaboration between BOSS and Fender. Its purpose is very specific: to recreate the sound of the legendary 1963 standalone Fender spring reverb unit, the tube-driven outboard reverb heard on countless surf, country, rockabilly, blues, and classic rock recordings.
