I am selling my Gretsch G5422TG Electromatic in Snowcrest White with gold hardware. An amazing hollow-body guitar with that iconic, recognizable Gretsch “twang” and a vintage look.
The guitar is in perfect technical condition and plays wonderfully smooth thanks to the comfortable C-shaped neck. This model is equipped with FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups. These sound very clear and dynamic, ranging from clean to a solid overdrive. Thanks to the trestle block bracing in the body, you’ll hardly experience any unwanted feedback with this model.
The guitar stays perfectly in tune, even when using the original Bigsby vibrato.
The front of the guitar still looks perfect. On the back of the headstock, there are two small spots where some finish has worn off (see photo). This is purely cosmetic and, of course, has zero impact on the guitar’s structure, sturdiness, or fantastic playability.
Key features:
- Body: Laminated maple (Double-Cut)
- Pickups: 2x FT-5E Filter'Tron™
- Bridge: Adjusto-Matic™ with Bigsby® B60 vibrato
- Hardware: Gold-colored
- Includes: Gig bag
