The Powers Electric A-Type is designed with player comfort at its core. Its lightweight, hollow body construction ensures perfect balance whether the player is standing or sitting. The contoured armrest and radiused body edges further enhance the playing experience, making the guitar feel like an extension of the player. The neck is carefully crafted to strike the ideal balance between being not too big and not too slim, smoothly transitioning into the unique split radius fretboard. This asymmetrical fretboard, flatter on the treble side, allows for effortless string bending and maximum playability, inspiring players to explore new musical ideas.

This specific model of the A-Type features PF42 (partial Faraday) pickups, designed to produce a firm, bright sound. These pickups blend modern magnetic structure with vintage inspiration, allowing the strings to vibrate more naturally and delivering both fidelity and colourful warmth. The guitar's trussed hollowbody, with internal soundposts and a braced solid-wood top, maximises resonance and lyrical sustain while suppressing feedback.

Hardware and Features

Equipped with the innovative CamTail bridge system, the Powers Electric A-Type ensures superior tuning stability during pitch changes. This camshaft tailpiece compensates for string tension and gauge, keeping the strings in tune and featuring a zero-point return mechanism that allows players to bend notes without pitch droop. The system is easily adjustable for a full floating vibrato, adding to the guitar's versatility.

The guitar's select figured flame maple top with a transparent finish adds a touch of elegance and sophistication, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood.
