For sale is an incredibly rare and collectible Ibanez JS10th “Chrome Boy”, a legend!
If you know these guitars, you already know the story:
the fully chromed body, the futuristic mirror-like finish, the endless reflections, fingerprints everywhere after about three seconds…
This particular guitar is a serial number 071 and comes with an exceptional collector package, including the original Candy Case contents and a genuine Crystal Planet era pick personally signed by Joe Satriani.
A true centerpiece for serious Ibanez or Satriani collectors.
The guitar is in very good condition overall and presents beautifully, especially considering how notoriously delicate Chrome Boys are.
As commonly happens with these models, parts of the chrome finish have been touched up over time, and this is visible in certain areas as shown in the photos.
Aside from that, the guitar remains extremely clean, structurally excellent, and fully functional.
Neck is straight, frets are in very good condition, electronics work perfectly, and the Lo-Pro Edge performs flawlessly.
This is still an absolutely stunning and highly display-worthy example.
