For sale: Epiphone EA-250 – vintage character with a unique sound
I’m selling my Epiphone EA-250, a beautiful vintage hollow-body electric guitar from the 1970s with the warm, open tone these models are known for. Perfect for blues, jazz, indie, garage rock, or anyone looking for a unique vintage instrument.
The guitar has authentic vintage mojo with natural wear consistent with its age, while still playing and sounding great. The electronics work properly, and the pickups deliver that raw, dynamic old-school tone that’s hard to find in modern guitars.
Last year the guitar received a professional setup by luthier. During the service it got:
- A new bone nut
- A new Tune-o-matic bridge for improved intonation
It now plays incredibly smoothly and comfortably.
Fun fact: the EA-250 was famously used by Noel Gallagher on Oasis’ debut album and can also be seen on the artwork of the Supersonic single.
Unfortunately, I need to let it go due to another investment.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with cosmetic wear from age and use. No major structural issues. Well cared for over the years.
