A beautiful sounding Jose Ramirez 2E guitar, handmade in Spain in 1996
For over half a century, José Ramirez has been the name most familiar to classical and flamenco guitar enthusiasts. Ramirez instruments have been played by countless pros, from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas, and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.
Built to Spanish construction standards, the Estudio line of guitars is an affordable alternative to the Artisan line of guitars. Without the cypress back and sides, these guitars are adaptations of traditional Ramirez designs.
Known for their light weight and quick response, this guitar sounds beautiful and rivals most high-end guitars. Despite its 30 years of age, it is in beautiful condition.
Designed with unique templates, embellishments, tone, tone quality, and materials, they are typical of the Ramirez brand. The 2E features a solid red cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard.
The ˝E˝ series was designed by Jose Ramirez III in 1986.
Top: Solid cedar
