The Gibson Custom 1960 Hummingbird Reissue is a true ode to the legendary original from the early 1960s. This electric acoustic western guitar is crafted in the Custom Shop and finished by Murphy Lab, with the Light Aging technique carefully applied. The thermally treated Sitka spruce top and mahogany body combine for a powerful, rich sound with an authentic vintage character. Thanks to the classic Hummingbird shape, mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays and slightly aged, gold-tone hardware, this guitar exudes the atmosphere of the Gibson Golden Era. With a rounded mahogany neck, 43.81mm bone nut and traditional belly-up bridge, this instrument is not only pleasing to the eye, but also a pleasantly playable choice for lovers of the classic Hummingbird sound.
