A compact and powerful 8HP Eurorack Voltage Controlled Amplifier built around the professional-grade THAT2180, a precision Blackmer VCA known for its low distortion, wide dynamic range, and smooth exponential control response used in professional audio equipment.
The module features two signal inputs, each with its own level control, allowing signals to be mixed directly before the VCA stage. Two CV modulation inputs, each with its own dedicated level control, provide precise dynamic control over the amplitude from envelopes, LFOs, sequencers, or other CV sources.
A global gain control adjusts the overall amplification level, allowing the module to boost lower level signals. The high-gain design makes this VCA ideal not only for amplitude shaping but also for signal boosting and CV processing.
Built with high-quality components, the module features a durable aluminium front panel and aluminium control knobs, providing a solid, professional feel and reliable operation in a busy Eurorack setup.
