GIRARDIN C101 Audio Mixer ORTF

🎚️ Girardin C101 Mixing Console – ORTF model / ultra rare / vintage studio / full transformers – needs restoration

I’m selling, reluctantly and for lack of time, a Girardin C101 professional mixing console, originally built for the ORTF (French National Broadcasting Organization).
This is an ultra-rare, high-end, 100% analog piece of equipment, representing the excellence of French audio engineering from the 1970s.
The console is complete, but needs restoration before use.

I compared it directly to EMI consoles: the resemblance is striking.

Girardin developed this type of console in collaboration with the EMI TG console (similar preamp and equalizer).

This console was developed with the help of the French company Pathé (EMI), which has a very similar console. It is equipped with ELCOM brand faders with progressive gain, similar to Quadrant faders (stable ohmic resistance). These faders were incredibly expensive and are now very rare.
