Collector Alert !!
This is a rare blue Fuzz Face issue by Dallas Arbiter with original box and papers.
In the mid 80s there was a rising interest for the tones that made great music in the 60s and 70s, the Dallas Arbiter company was then taken over by Crest to produce a bunch of Fuzz Faces in three colours: many in grey, some in red and a very few in blue.
This is one of the very rare in blue finish, and comes with the original box, instructions and advertisement. Sound is top notch silicon fuzz face with its typical bite and incredible clean up.
It sports 2 BC109 transistors.
All original to my knowledge and with me for 20+ years. Always used at home or in my studio. It appears to be some glue on the input jack - see last picture - probably to keep it steady, it has always been there since I got the pedal, probably came out of the factory like this but I can not confirm.
