The Premier DC strikes the balance between classic D’Angelico design and contemporary performance. Combining the unique D’Angelico design with a classic, familiar semi-hollow config, it’s a workhorse instrument that’ll never fail to turn heads.

• New Supro Pickups - Supro’s take on the most sought-after P.A.F. Humbuckers, Bolt Buckers provide bold, vintage-inspired clarity. Warm and balanced yet offering growling tones, Bolt Buckers are infused with old-school Supro attitude, utilising Alnico 5 in the neck AND bridge to create a perfectly balanced pair.
• Pau Ferro Fretboard - A 12-inch fingerboard radius and medium jumbo fretwire on a Pau Ferro fingerboard make for effortless playability. Paired with a C-shape neck with extra thickness in the shoulder for snug hand-fit and added sustain.
• Grover Tuners - Custom tuners from Grover offer a 15:1 gear ratio, providing precise tuning and contributing to a lightweight headstock. A satin nickel finish and cream buttons offer vintage-inspired minimalism, while an undersized Throwback headstock with 5-ply binding offers an understated alternative to the typically ornate D’Angelico aesthetic.

Body & Neck

As the name suggests, the DC is a curvy double-cut semi-hollow that offers solid humbucking tones. The body material is Laminate Maple, offering up plenty of top-end brightness to contrast with the warm semi-hollow sound. Multi-ply cream binding rounds it off with a touch of class.

The Maple neck continues the theme, laying on yet more top-end sparkle. Combined with the semi-hollow configuration and HH pickup setup, you get a warm, clear and versatile sound that’ll suits anything from hard rock to jazz-funk.

Hardware & Electronics

As mentioned before, twin Supro Bolt Bucker AS humbuckers deliver a warm but gutsy snarl, but also clean up beautifully and have plenty of tone on tap regardless of style.

The hardware is chrome from top to bottom, including Rotomatic Stairstep tuners - it’s an undeniably striking instrument. But everything has a purpose; expect fantastic tuning stability, squeaky-clean intonation and reliability across the board.
