A vintage anamoly from the Great White North.

This may be the only one of these that we ever see in the wild. A VT Phasor Twin 60 Watt SS Combo. These were made in Kitchener, Ontario at a time when solid state technology was considered cutting edge and sounded great (think Roland JC). This has two 12" Celestions and sounds good. Plenty loud with nice spring reverb and vibrato. Add a bunch of oddball lo-fi settings and you have one seriously unique sounding amp. Rumour has it that Proco used VTs to test Rats on in the seventies. I hope so. This one is in nice condition with only some discoloration on the griil cloth and a few marks on the tolex. Sonically it is A1 with everything tested and working. A typical 1970s Solid State that will out-live you and I. The footswitch has been lost to the ages.

VT Phasor Twin, made in Canada. Mid 70's. Solid State, with built in reverb and two different modulation effects, "vibrato" and "phasor". Cool ( to me anyway) aesthetics with a futuristic 70's outerspace vibe.

It's got a pair of original Celestion G12M 75hz 25 watters that never saw more than the 60 watts this amp put out since new.

The reverb and modulation are very, very cool in a funky lo-fi kinda way (perfect for a Ennio Morricone movie soundtrack) but also a legitimate instrument in its own right because of it's unique voice. The depth and speed knobs have an extremely wide sweep with all sorts of crazy weirdness going on.
