Two units of Audio Line AL-123 Mic pre & EQ

This is the first edition of the now rebranded Arrel Audio CL-123 mic pre and equalizer.

These were bought probably around 2014/2015 directly from the man who built this incredible piece of gear, Livio Argentini.

Cosmetics: A few signs of wear here and there, otherwise really good.
Front is excellent and when racked they look nearly Mint.

In use: Fully functioning and both have had very little use throughout their life.
I spoke with the studio these units were taken from (they also tested them) and they
estimate they have been used maybe 15-20 times since new.Sometimes there is the
odd light crackle of some knobs when turned.The mastering engineer of the studio
said that it's normal, as they sat in the rack mostly unused.The more one uses them
the better it gets....a clean would be obviously better,but they are both absolutely
usable as they are.

These units are expensive and they go for nearly 3000 Euros each new !!!

Could consider other equipment as part of the payment or swaps, like synthesizers (no vintage relics,please) ,drum machines, Reverbs etc. (NOT interested in preamps,eq's,mics or classical instruments etc)

Arrel, builders of modular mastering equipment, take their no-compromise ethos to the CL-123 channel strip: very low distortion (<0.003%), ultra-low noise & very wide frequency response: linear at -/+1db from 5 – 200.000 Hz (10x the industry standard – this is not a typo). • 4-band parametric EQ with overlapping frequencies (20 - 200 Hz, 100 - 1000 Hz, 500 - 5000 Hz, 2 - 20 kHz), 3 Q settings – narrow, normal, wide, +/- 14db gain range. Proprietary single-stage parallel filter topology by Livio Argentini – superior phase coherence.
• switchable HP / LP filters at 80Hz/12kHz. They have very rounded responses to provide a supremely smooth roll off. Removes the rumble and hiss without cutting into the musically significant part of the signal.

• switchable balanced insert loop with connectors on back (XLR) & front panel (jack)
