This Maverick Nemesis S4 bass has been manufactured to high standards using the finest materials and produces a huge sound with lots of variation of tone. It has a contoured 2-piece centre-joined American Alder body, a 24 fret Canadian Rock Maple & Bubinga neck with a large neck pocket & 5-bolt joint, AAA Grade East Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The bass, hardware & pickups were designed by Trev Wilkinson, and were all custom built in Korea for Maverick.

The pickups are the Nemesis Active pickup system. The 2 distinctive 'Evolution' roller controls control the volume for each pickup and are immediately intuitive to use. The 3 smaller knobs are center notched Treble, Mid & Bass cut and boost controls, and produce an incredible array of powerful tones. The machine heads are also especially good, Wilkinson designed 18:1 tuners, and all the hardware is finished in a lovely smoky chrome. This bass will give all the top branded names a run for their money!

Maverick Guitars were a UK based company from the early 2000s, and the #00262 serial number on this bass suggests that it's probably quite an early example. These superb instruments are rare finds now, as they weren't produced in massive numbers and not many people know about them.

In outstanding condition throughout, considering it's age; with almost no signs of wear and no marks to speak of.
