In my opinion this is ESP trying to make either a 60s or 70s strat. I think these pick ups do a very good job at having a bright Fender Texas special like sound but a more rustic kind of analog sounding version. Definitely not cheap pick ups at all. I have thought about putting fender pickups in it and decided against it.
Great working player guitar condition. Neck is perfect. Jack input needs some fixing as it occasionally crackles.
Heavy Alder body. Not ash. Beautiful rosewood board. Amazing knobs and frets.
Lots of marks and nicks.
No returns so make sure this is what you want.
