EGC (Electrical Guitar Company) produces its own, modern aluminum instruments, but acts as the official manufacturer for Travis Bean Designs, reviving the classic 1970s models. 

EGC, founded by Kevin Burkett, produces aluminum-necked guitars and holds the rights to produce official Travis Bean reissues under the "Travis Bean Designs" banner. Following an obsession with the original 1970s aluminum instruments, EGC maintains the legacy of Travis Bean, often collaborating with original creators to build new, high-gain aluminum instruments

Official Partnership: Travis Bean Designs is a joint venture between Rita Bean (widow of Travis Bean) and Kevin Burkett of EGC to officially bring back the original 1970s aluminum guitar line.

• The Connection: Kevin Burkett (EGC) was a huge fan of vintage Travis Bean guitars. Due to their high value and his fear of damage, he began creating his own aluminum instruments in Alabama, which eventually led to him licensing the brand name.
• Production & Design: While EGC makes its own original designs, it also builds the officially sanctioned "Travis Bean Designs" instruments, which often use the classic "pan back" construction where the neck and core body are machined from a single piece of aluminum.
• Reissue Focus: EGC carries the torch for the original Travis Bean company, which was known for using metal necks and high-end pickups.
