Very nice piece of Fender history. This guitar has some real Mojo!!
It plays and sounds like a dream ! The previous owner bought it from a collector.
At some point there was a humbucker routing made in the neck position but this has been professionally restored and is hardly visible (see close-up Pic).
To respect the originality of the guitar, the refinish was professionally executed with the "authentic" Nitrocellulose primer and in its original colour (Olympic White). The electronics and hardware are all still original, with the addition of an added string tree (on B & E strings). The pick guard and pick guard screws are HQ Fender Repro's as the original pick guard was totally corrugated and unusable.
The neck is one of the best I have ever played, you can really feel the 60's in it.
The original factory-installed BIGSBY stays in tune very well !!
Comes with a more recent Hard Case, as I have never had the original 60's OHSC in my possession.
