The Golden Ratio V2 features an internal smart switching circuit giving multiple forms of compression. With a volume, blend, ratio, release, attack, and threshold knob this compressor is perfect for dialing in your perfect sound.
FET compressor: Feed-back detector/control compression circuit.
OTA compressor: The majority of guitar compressors use this tech. Feed-forward detector circuit. Best for being able to "squeeze" things harder. The most controllable circuit.
OPTO (Optical) compressor: Hand selected photocell combined with a feed-back detector offers smooth attack and release. The most musical sound, best for the "always-on" type.
An internal switch selects between 9 or 18V DC of operation from a standard 9V DC power supply via an internal voltage multiplier. Use the 18V setting for increased headroom and enhanced compression characteristics.
